LQ is run for and by its members. It therefore aims for events with serious and practical content with lively delegate participation. With the exception of the Tech Day, content aimed at promoting a particular product or service is unacceptable, and to ensure the highest standards, all material presented at LQ events is subject to prior approval.
Evening Seminars
These are held several times each year in central London, usually starting at 6.00 pm. They comprise a talk by a leading practitioner or academic followed by a usually lively discussion and refreshments.
They are open to members and non-members, who can register and pay on-line or register on-line and pay at the event. Attendance is not possible unless payment has been received.
Spring Seminar
This one-and-a half-day event takes place in London. Papers are presented by leading practitioners and academics from around the world, each accompanied by lively discussion.
Both members and non-members may attend by registering and paying for the event on-line or by registering and requesting an invoice. Attendance is not possible unless payment has been received.
Autumn Seminar
This is event takes place in Cambridge or Oxford each September. The seminar opens with dinner on Sunday evening and concludes at midday on Wednesday, when delegates are invited to stay for a farewell lunch. Papers are presented by leading practitioners and academics from around the world. In order to ensure that all delegates benefit from the liveliest of discussion at this event, attendance is strictly limited.

Tech Day
This event, held in London, makes available to members and non-members, information about the latest in investment technology. Technology providers are invited to promote their wares by presenting a paper, purchasing an exhibition stand or sponsoring part of the event. In contrast to other LQ events, papers presented at the Tech Day may contain overt promotional content provided that the material is sufficiently interesting to be valuable to LQ members.

Sponsorships are invited for all LQ events. Please email liisa@burgundyblueevents.com with details of the event you would like to sponsor, the type of sponsorship you would like, for example part of an Evening, Spring or Autumn Seminar or the Tech Day, a paper or a stand at the Tech Day.
